To provide a mechanism whereby Podiatric Surgical Facilities can be evaluated in order to ensure that the facility is providing the highest level of outpatient care for its patients.

Accreditation by AAPSF signifies that the surgical facility has completed and passed a multistep process designed to ensure the delivery of safe, quality health care.
